Boulon is a typeface born from an object that is both ordinary and essential: the bolt. This small mechanical element, often overlooked, plays
a crucial role in holding things together, in providing structure and stability to the world around us. With its regular eight sides and circular center, the bolt embodies simplicity, functionality, and timeless design.
Drawing from this industrial geometry, we created a typographic language. Each character in the Boulon typeface is inspired by the bolt’s sharp angles. Designed to embody a raw, bold, Boulon plays with contrasts, between weight and lightness.
