Boulon is a typeface born from an object that is both ordinary and essential, the bolt. This small mechanical element, often overlooked, plays a crucial role in holding things together,
in providing structure and stability to the world around us.
Drawing from this industrial geometry, we created a typographic language. Each character in the Boulon typeface is inspired by the bolt’s sharp angles. Designed to embody a raw, bold, Boulon plays with contrasts, between weight and lightness.
